The Ventura County Fair (![[WWW]](http://wikispot.org/wiki/eggheadbeta/img/sycamore-www.png){kind=small}
website) is an annual event that occurs at Seaside Park. Every year, people flock from all across Ventura County to enjoy the home crafts, animals, collections, gems, commercial booths, rides, and of course carnies at the Fair.
The fair is popular for two major reasons: it's an excuse to leave the August heat of inland Ventura County and spend a day on the coast, and our agricultural heritage is still fairly strong in Ventura.
The 31st District Agricultural Association is the organizer of the fair, and of course if you win a blue ribbon you'll be off to the 
California State Fair.
