Ventura College (VC) is a community college that serves Ventura, with an extension center out in Santa Paula. Being a community college, the attract a wide variety of students: students transferring to 4-year universities, remedial students, older reentry students, professional development students, and those just seeking personal enrichment.
Ventura College is doing their part to fight global warming, since their mascot is a pirate.
