Twilight's Last Gleaming Cross Country Challenge is a difficult 4 mile race on dirts trails and steep hills around Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura. It is held the last Saturday evening in October (except when that falls on Halloween, when the race will be a week earlier). The race begins at 5 p.m., which give adequate time for all competitors to finish and awards to be distributed before sunset. Sign up for the race on the same day.
