The City of Ventura Public Works department maintains or regulates much of Ventura's public infrastructure. The have divisions for street sweeping, road maintenance, engineering, and graffitti removal. They also run the utilities of water and sewer for the city.

If you need to pay your water and sewer bill before the deadline, you can always drop off your payment in the white mailbox right outside City Hall.
