Midtown is the region of Ventura between the San Jon Barranca and Mills Road, and north of the 101 Freeway. The whole area sits a few feet above the ocean, up on the ledge above the Arundell Barranca.
Like Downtown, Midtown has a lot of shopping, but much of it is concentrated in the Pacific View Mall. It's also home to Ventura High School, and a lot of housing.
