Montalvo Station is the eastern end of the Ventura County Line in the Metrolink system. Because we're fairly far from LA, the train only departs three times a day in the morning, and arrives three times a day in the evening. It's yet another form of Mass Transit.

Metrolink is operated by the Southern California Regional Rail Authority, a small agency that depends a lot on the support of its cities. The Ventura County Line was in the news a lot in 2009, due to a crash with a freight train that killed 25 people.
