Cemetery Park is a public park at the edge of Downtown. It is so named because it was once at least a couple cemeteries were located here, and a few members of early farming families are still buried here. Still, after decades of little maintenance, the area fell into the hands of the city where it became just another public park. Still, it's on a beautiful hillside, overlooking both downtown and the beach.

dogs-at-play.jpgDogs play at their favorite park. It's known by another name by canines, who probably think of it as Dog Park. This is a very popular spot for man's best friend, as it is a leash-free park that dogs bring their people to. It's not legally leash-free, but the law is openly flaunted by basically everyone at this location. Arroyo Verde Park and Camino Real Park have legally leashless areas on some days, but this park is still the best one for dogs.
