Acacapa as viewed from Cemetery Park.Anacapa Island is the closest of the Channel Islands to Ventura. On clear days, you can get a pretty good glimpse of the island across the Santa Barbara Channel. It looks like more than one island, but the sections are all connected just a few feet underwater.
This island is protected as part of the Channel Islands National Park, ensuring that its wildlife will remain protected (and its mana untapped :P) for generations to come.
